The Finley Block

My husband is very critical of beds/mattresses when we stay in new places. This place had the comfiest bed we've ever experienced from a rental. They had plenty of amenities for us including a fan for noise at night. The stay was perfect and I would gladly rebook next time I'm in town!

I stayed in Apt E for two nights and it was absolutely wonderful… very quiet considering you’re close to M-52. The apartment was lovely and the exposed brick walls added to the charm. The master bedroom was very comfortable. I needed some alone time and this was perfect! Fireplace… take-out… Netflix and some reading. I honestly didn’t want to leave! I’d love to stay with you again the next time I visit family. Tip for others… book via Airbnb and avoid issues with other “discount” booking apps. The owner/host is wonderful to communicate with.

I travel constantly and have stayed thousands of nights in so many locations. This is an experience unlike any other. The Curwood house becomes your spacious home the second you book your suite and are greeted by Michelle. You have a whole parking lot that is well lit by gorgeous driveway lamps. The kitchen is completely modern with every fancy appliance needed to make your stay feel even more welcoming. The Finley suite is the best suite hands down, but all rooms are amazing. You get full sun bar access with all rooms. The pictures speak for themselves but give the Curwood house a call and Michelle will gladly answer any of your questions. Whenever I am in this area on business, I will book the Finley suite. Hands down best location to stay in Owosso, MI!

My Girlfriends and I had a girls weekend and all stayed here. The accommodations were amazing and felt like we were at home. We had everything we needed. The hosts were more than amazing, and will be staying here again!

We had wonderful time staying at the Curwood House. The room was nice, clean and beautiful. Though bathroom was in common area to be shared with other guests, but as we already knew about it while booking, so that wasn't much of concern for us. The cost of stay was reasonable. It was quite close to downtown and castle. The host preferred to communicate via text or by leaving voicemail. It took us a while to get adjusted to that, but once we understood we were able to communicate, ask questions, and request for invoice all on texts. It was a beautiful house, and we wish we could have time to stay there longer.

We had a wonderful experience booking The Curwood House for our company Christmas party and overnight stay! The host Michelle was so easy to work with and pleasant. We had to change our venues last minute, and Michelle went out of her way on short notice to accommodate us. From rearranging furniture, letting us tour the property beforehand within an hour of calling, and preparing us for best set-ups for our caterer, bartenders, and musician, she made sure we had everything we needed (and never complained :) ). The venue was charming, historic, and a great space for a Christmas party. Bedrooms were clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. Most of our guests had never been to The Curwood House (ourselves included), and we were all so impressed. Check-in and check-out were very easy, and the price was incredibly reasonable. We will be recommending The Curwood House to anyone needing a place to stay or an event space!

Host met me at the Inn and showed me around and answered all my questions. Room was spacious and the bathroom had a tub/shower combo (and I do like a good soak). Water was hot and plentiful. Breakfast was huge and my Aunt and Uncle who live in town were permitted to join me for a modest additional cost. Between the three of us, we sampled the french toast, pancakes, and omelette. I liked that the Inn has several places (beside the bed rooms) to gather with friends, or sit and read, or work. Would stay again.
